Project Overview
The client approached Aks Design Co. with a clear vision: to create a luxury lounge and hookah bar in Goa that could also function as a pub with high-energy music and dining facilities. The brief demanded a soundproof environment, a state-of-the-art music system, and a fully functional industrial kitchen capable of supporting large-scale hospitality operations.
Spread across 1,100 sq. ft. of lounge space and 3,000 sq. ft. of kitchen area, AKRA Lounge was designed and executed as a turnkey commercial interior project in Goa. The scope included acoustic ceiling and wall soundproofing, installation of heavy-duty HVAC units, a custom-built bar, and bespoke lounge furniture. To tie the design together, we introduced a signature curved concept mirrored in both the flooring and ceiling, paired with printed tiles, wooden plank flooring, and dramatic lighting installations.
The result is a bold, high-performance hospitality space that blends style with functionality—perfect for a modern lounge, hookah bar, and nightlife venue in Goa.

Soundproofing & Acoustics: Entire ceiling and wall treatments designed for noise isolation, ensuring an immersive audio experience

HVAC & Technical Setup: Hoisted 3 heavy-duty 1x1x1 (300 kg each) ducting units into the ceiling for efficient ventilation

Bar & Kitchen: Full-scale bar counter with display + 3,000 sq. ft. industrial kitchen for high-volume service

Furniture Curation: 100% custom-made lounge seating, bar stools, and tables designed for comfort & durability

Flooring: Combination of printed tiles and wooden plank tiles, carrying the same curve design as the ceiling

Lighting: Statement chandeliers and circular LED lighting adding drama and a modern club vibe
