Project Overview

Hibiscus Villa is a soulful, Indian-inspired home designed for a Bangalore-based family looking to relocate to Goa and embrace a slower, more grounded lifestyle. Nestled in the peaceful surroundings of North Goa, this villa was crafted to be a warm, welcoming sanctuary rooted in tradition yet styled for modern family living.

The family wanted a space that felt nostalgic yet new, serene yet full of character. AKS Design Co brought this vision to life by blending Indian design sensibilities with natural materials like teak wood, cane, linen, and brass ensuring the home feels both timeless and personal.

Design Language

The interiors of Hibiscus Villa are defined by their Indian contemporary aesthetic, rooted in warmth, simplicity, and craftsmanship. 

Material palette: Rich teak wood, natural woven cane, handwoven textiles, and soft earthy tones
Furniture: All furniture is custom-designed by AKS Design Co using traditional joinery and handcrafted detailing
Layout: Open, airy spaces with large windows that connect indoor living to Goa’s tropical surroundings
Vibe: Calm, comforting, and rooted a true home for everyday family life and quiet luxury
