Project Overview
This vacation villa was designed for an elderly couple from Delhi, Mr. & Mrs. Barega, who visit Goa once a year to spend a few peaceful months in their private second home. Unlike rentals or Airbnbs, this space is exclusively for the family, making it personal and reflective of their lifestyle.
The design blends a Modern Goan eccentric aesthetic with the couple’s preference for whitewashed walls, blue accents, green tones, and distressed textures. The result is a fresh, coastal-inspired retreat that feels at once relaxed, timeless, and full of character.
With prior experience designing Villa 7 and Villa 8 in the same compound, Aks Design Co. ensured architectural harmony across the villas while giving Villa Barega its own unique personality. Delivered in just 2–2.5 months, the project embodies Goan charm with a modern twist.

The villa captures a modern yet eclectic Goan vibe, combining natural textures with distressed finishes for character and timelessness.
